About the guide

St Pete Eats is a St. Petersburg restaurant guide built from our own visits.

We live in St. Pete and eat out often. This is our St. Pete dining guide: a public shortlist of Saint Petersburg, Florida restaurants we have been to in person, filed with our own photos, scores, and notes.

It started as a list we kept for ourselves, where to go on a weeknight, where to take someone visiting, which places were worth a second trip. Now it is the place we send people when they ask where to eat in St Petersburg.

How we review

What our ratings are based on

Our ratings are editorial, not crowdsourced. We visit, we eat, and we file what happened. Scores reflect our last visit, not an average pulled from the internet.

Open a restaurant profile and you will see neighborhood, price, photos from the visit, what we would order again, and an honest take on the room and the food.

FAQ

Common questions

How do you pick restaurants for St Pete Eats?
We go anywhere in St. Pete that interests us: new openings, neighborhood staples, places friends keep bringing up, and restaurants we have been meaning to try. The guide does not cover every single restaurant in St. Pete, but it will continue to grow as we eat around town.
Are your ratings crowdsourced?
No. We visit in person, eat the food, and file our own notes. The ratings reflect our experience, not an average of Google or Yelp reviews.
Do you accept paid listings or sponsored placements?
We choose restaurants the same way most people do: curiosity, word of mouth, neighborhood walks, new openings, and places that keep coming up in conversation. If a restaurant invites us, we may take a look, but the guide is shaped by what we want to explore and share.
Can I suggest a restaurant or report a correction?
Yes. Send restaurant tips, closures, menu changes, or factual fixes to hello@stpeteeats.com. We read every note, even if we cannot act on every suggestion right away.
