Our take

Cracker Barrel on 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg is your typical chain spot for American comfort food, complete with a general store. We went for breakfast. The pancakes held up, but the country ham was a miss. Everyone at our table sent it back. The manager did come over to address it, which was a nice touch, but the server seemed overwhelmed. The place has outdoor seating and serves everything from breakfast to dinner, with a full bar. It's family-friendly and good for groups, but don't expect a standout meal. It's more about the familiar setting and the store than the food. If you're in the mood for pancakes, it's fine, but maybe skip the ham.
