Our take
Fortu is good. That is the annoying part. The food is not bad enough to dismiss, but not strong enough to explain all the noise around it. We got fried rice, gyoza, and kampachi. The gyoza was the favorite by a clean margin. Fried rice was fine. Kampachi was good. Then the bill and the Michelin chatter sat there looking at each other. Maybe we caught the wrong night. Maybe the hype got there first and ate half the meal. We would order the gyoza again. We would not campaign for the reservation.
What stood out
The gyoza. The one dish that made the cleanest case for itself.
