Brick & Mortar

Small room, serious food, real prices. The roasted octopus is the plate we remember.

The review

Our take

Brick & Mortar is small and expensive enough that the food has to show up ready to work. It mostly does. The roasted octopus was our favorite, cooked right, clean, and not buried under decoration. The place does not feel casual in the wallet, even if the room is small and simple. That can make the whole meal feel a little tight. Still, they are serious about the food, and it shows. We would order the octopus again and skip any speech about the room.

What stood out

The roasted octopus. Cooked right, clean, and not buried under decoration.
