Coffee first

Bandit keeps the coffee part simple, and that is a big part of why we like it. This is not the place doing triple upside down peanut butter oat milk lattes just because somebody can type that on a menu board. They have proper coffee drinks, a few specialty or seasonal beverages, and enough confidence to stop there. That sounds basic, but it matters if you're going to be a serious coffee shop.

The coffee is very good. My usual order is the cold brew or an iced latte. The house-made syrups are solid, which helps if we want something with a little extra in it without turning the drink into dessert.

They also roast their own beans, which are also very good.

Good sense, not menu sprawl

The food is great as well, even if the coffee is what stands out most. That same restraint seems to carry through the rest of the place from what is publicly available. Bandit has indoor and outdoor seating, and outdoor seating makes sense for groups or a coffee meet-up that does not need to be overcomplicated.

Bandit can get busy. Long lines on the weekend, but the drinks come out fast once ordered. Online ordering and a pickup window are also available which is useful on a crowded morning
