Trophy Fish

Trophy Fish is pretty straightforward. Bar over here, food window over there, chalkboard telling us what kind of fish they have today. We stand around, order, sit down, sweat a little, drink something cold, and wait for the food

Happy hour is the move. Five dollar tacos, dollar oysters, solid drink specials. The oysters were not great. A little warm. Just fine. The hush puppies were better. The fresh catch dishes are the thing to trust.

Last time it was hot as hell and a few fans were dead, which made the whole outdoor thing feel like work. Still, we would go back. It is clean. It is polished enough. What matters is simpler: cold drinks, decent fish, and a fun atmosphere.
