Allelo

One of our favorite spots downtown. Great food, strong brunch, and a custom, thoughtful room.

Our take

Downtown St. Pete gets touristy. Allelo’s food does not.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is fantastic, service has always been excellent, and prices are reasonable. That should tell you everything you need to know. However, brunch still needs it's own paragraph.

The full brunch tasting menu runs around $45 a person, comes family style, gives you a few choices, and brings more food than you can eat. The olive oil pancakes and candied bacon are both fantastic. The shakshouka is pretty great too. Sometimes they set a little copper tap of brunch cocktails on the table. This is the perfect place to make brunch a full experience.

At dinner, seafood is the way to go. The seafood tower is epic. The cocktails are great, the wine is good, and the room feels custom and tastefully put together. The bird art behind the bar is beautiful.

Allelo belongs in the top three in St. Pete. I’m declaring it. You heard it here first.

What stood out

The olive oil pancakes, candied bacon, and little copper cocktail tap make brunch the meal to order.
